First of all, River Road Automotive has the comfiest waiting room I've ever been in. I highly recommend kicking off your shoes off and hanging on the couch.

Second of all, Wade fixed the air conditioner in my car when no one else could, at a fast speed, AND for an affordable price. Once he discovered the part he needed to replace, he placed an order and got the part within an hour. That mattered a lot to me since I took off work time to be there and didn't want to have to go back. These guys are very fair, I highly recommend them.

(I did have an issue with one thing, which is that I wasn't quoted a price for the diagnostic until after the service. I don't think this was malicious, they were just busy, and I didn't ask. $60 was a very fair price though, and much cheaper than other places.

River Road Auto is not only a lifesaver, but they are as honest as they come. Not only did Adam fix BOTH of my vehicles in a few hours each, he also fixed my truck for nearly $1,300 less than a major chain quoted me.

A major chain that my pickup truck needed over $1,500 in front end repair alone. On top of that, they quoted me $400 for brake pads. Adam took a quick look and found that the other guys had tried to replace a few things that didn't actually need replacing. He was able to do the front end work that DID need to be done, as well as the brake pads, for right around $700 total. Much better than nearly two grand, and he certainly did a better job than the other guys would have.

I ended up taking my other car, a Scion, to him as well, and he was able to diagnose the problem spot on from my vague, clueless-about-cars, verbal description. Once again, he fixed the problem in a few hours, and for a really reasonable price.

He was even willing to show me exactly how much he pays for parts, tell me exactly how much he has to mark them up to make a profit, and he was even willing to show me what went wrong in my car so that I knew he wasn't giving me the run around. He was great about explaining things in a way that I could understand, with me being clueless about cars.

On top of the quick, quality, and low price repairs, everyone I spoke to was also super friendly and helpful, and genuinely so. I couldn't be happier with my experience.

Drove up in the morning to say that after 100,000 miles my Honda Fit was running fine, but wasn't it due for some maintenance work? A___ spent time on the computer looking up what was recommended and reported only a transmission fluid change was due. That afternoon I was back for the same. When Adam brought out my keys after 15 minutes, he reported that the transmission fluid was clean and did not need replacing. I pulled out my wallet to pay something for his time, but he would not take a dime. These guys are amazing!

I've been going to River Road Automotive for over a decade. Wade is the current owner, and he's always been honest and fair. Today, I had to get my alternator replaced. I thought that I had done so not that long ago, and asked him if he had worked on that part. Checking his records, I was right, not more than a few years ago. "I back my work, and the parts I use, and it's wrong that the part should have quit that fast." He refunded me $100, explaining that he needs to make sure that not only is his work good, but so is whatever he puts in his customer's vehicles.

If that isn't integrity and honesty, then I don't know what is. I highly recommend River Road Automotive to anyone, and I will be going back, but hopefully, not too often. They do high quality work, fair prices, and are remarkably honest.
